India Stone Mart 2017 (9th International Stone Industry Exhibition)

India StoneMart 2017, the 9th edition of India’s premier international stone industry exhibition, was held from February 2–5, 2017 at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura Industrial Area, Jaipur. Organized by the Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) in collaboration with FICCI and RIICO, the event brought together over 500 exhibitors from India and abroad, including country pavilions from Turkey, China, Italy, Egypt, and Iran, as well as state pavilions from stone-rich states such as Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha.
The exhibition showcased a wide variety of natural stones, including marble, granite, sandstone, limestone, slate, and quartz, along with stone processing machinery, tools, and allied products. The fair attracted more than 25,000 trade visitors and over 1,500 overseas visitors, providing a vibrant platform for networking, business development, and knowledge exchange.
A special highlight of StoneMart 2017 was the Jaipur Architecture Festival, which ran alongside the exhibition and hosted discussions, workshops, and presentations on innovative uses of stone in architecture. The All India Stone Architectural Awards (AISAA) recognized outstanding projects demonstrating creativity and excellence in natural stone applications.
StoneMart 2017 reinforced Jaipur’s position as a global hub for the stone industry, blending heritage, innovation, and international trade opportunities under one roof.
